Great beers and a beautiful brewery and grounds. They frequently have live music in the beer garden during the summer. Definitely check it out!
Awesome brewery tour with great information about the history of Schell's! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and all of the staff is very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be going back for another tour and beer tasting!
A great brewery full of great people making great beer on great grounds. The tour was interesting and an excellent value (kids 13 and under are free and get root beer samples in the taproom). There's lots to see in the museum but my favorite part was wandering the grounds and biergarten which had a band playing as part of their summer music series. The employees went out of their way to make sure my family had a good time. I'm looking forward to the next time we find ourselves in the area!
For $5 it is well worth it. 1/2 hr tour followed up by a tasting of five selections. Plus a 12 oz of your choice at the end. Lots of character and history.
Great tour. There is a ton of history here and you can tell they take great pride in it. They have nicely preserved some of the old unused brewing areas for the tour. Unfortunately, you don't get to see much of the modern equipment, but I'd still come back in the summer for the beer garden. I just wish I liked lagers more.
