This place has lots of interesting information about the historical Hermann (Arminius) and the history of this monument. It would probably be worth $2.50 per person at any time of year for the interesting informational exhibits. However, on a lovely autumn day, it's a certainly worth the money for the spectacular view of the picturesque Minnesota River valley in full fall splendor.
Nice monument to Hermann the German, beautiful historic building, make sure you go to the very top to get an amazing view of New Ulm and the river valley. Plan a picnic in the park next to the monument.
Grand. Epic. Pay bucks to get inside. We walked the park on a beautiful day. Boom.
When I was last there in the 60's we called him Herman the German.
Pay to see a town. Nevermind. We saved our $10. Kids would rather have ice cream and play at the "free" parks.
